Counter-Strike Source on X100e
Anyone been able to get passable framerates in CSS on the single-core X100e?
I'm pushing 10-20 FPS on all low, which is rather unplayable.
Running the 10.12 Catalyst. I think my single core MV40 is limiting it significantly.

I never played CS, but all flavours of HL I tried are running fine on dual core X100, HL2 is still reasonably playable @1920x1080 on an external monitor.Colonel O'Neill wrote:Anyone been able to get passable framerates in CSS on the single-core X100e?

Do you have the dual core L335 or single core MV40?

Re: Counter-Strike Source on X100e
So did not notice that, nor did I remember about this thread. XD
Anyways, I installed Windows 2000 (retro me) on my X100e, put CSS on it, and am now able to play de_dust 2 at native, all high, 0xAA, trilinear AF, no HDR at around 40FPS, even with some high-poly models. (woohoo).
Weird. Star Trek Elite Force 2 also lags pretty badly on Windows 7, but CS:CZ seemed to run fine.
EDIT: LOL Left4Dead 2 runs on Windows 2000 at a nice 20-30FPS at 640x480, all low. Coooool.

Re: Counter-Strike Source on X100e
Some games I've played extremely well on my L625 x100e
I've never tried any FPS on it. Waiting for my x120e so I can at least turn on some settings in Startcraft 2.
Homeworld 2
Total Annihilation
NFS Hot Pursuit 2
Starcraft 2 (all low setting ~30 FPS)
