Hello Bill,
Your website was offline for some time ??
Today I found it again, but my security-software warned me against it (connection not protected / authencity not reported/ certificate not known) ?
Can anyone explain... who is the "culprit" ?
What to do, to keep the site accessible??
Thanks !!!

Re: Thinkpads.com was offline for some time???
Thanks a lot !!
I was on my secure browser, that one does not like "open spaces" .... Now I'm again on my "normal" firefox ... no complaints.
Thanks for the link, too.
DO I understand the problem I had (Europe) as a combination of attacks /overload and neccessary reactions of the providing host?
Stay safe and well in these troubling times...

Why was Thinkpads.com attacked ?
This site has always been extremely and annoyingly very secure.
I have had to change to a new user name in the past before I could get in.
What possible motive can anyone have to DoS attack you ?
I asked my boss one day long ago- 'why would anyone steal your
old pencil ? ' and he said ' kid, some people steal just to keep in practice'
Maybe the same with Dos attacks
