Upgrading from T480 to the T14G3. Worth it?

I recently came across a Thinkpad T14 gen 3 for sale with a Ryzen 7 Pro 6850u, 16gb of ram and 512gb of storage. I'm just wondering if this is a worthwhile upgrade from my T480 with an Intel Core i5-8250u with 16gb of ram and 256gb of storage. Thanks in advance!

Note that the T14G3 AMD has soldered RAM only, so it's not upgradable.

CPU and graphics-wise it's a significant upgrade-- double the CPU cores (quad-core to octa-core) with better performance per GHz, and massive improvement in iGPU performance.

The only thing that the T480 has that the T14G3 AMD doesn't is Thunderbolt 3, which might be irrelevant depending on your needs.
