X230T I7 (Fru 04W6720) not working just beeping :(

I do have a spare x230T systemboard, that I bought unused and that is obviously not used, that I intend to use.

But: installing the systemboard (adding 2x8GB Crucial DDR3 RAM 1333 SoDimm) the Board does not show / intend to boot... I expected it to ask for Date and time, but instead it started beeping (6 times).
I do not have the specs of this i7 board. Would the board need special RAM (low voltage... ???)

6 beeps usually means keyboard failure.
Maybe there is some dirt in the KB connector on the board, try blowing it out.
Check that the KB cable is properly plugged in and/or try another keyboard.

Well, RealBlackStuff,
it is not just that it does not start ... the fru- 04w6820 is a fru, I can't find with lenovos fru-list.

I just happened to kill (? overstrech?) my i7 X230T while updgrading to Win11 (25H2!), so I' ll have
to reconsider that board, too.

Any advice, where to get a spare 04W6804? China does hemper delivery to my place..

Lenovo Part number 04X3744 can be subbed for your X230T planar.

Good news:

after a long way (search, look and ask) I found a systemboard... I could order and I was able to pay for.

Well, I did find some supply, but I can't buy it ...

...as - so it seems - China does not allow to sell it (Planar) to Germany...
Does anyone know another source?

I would not mind buying the "old" intel i7 3520- system for a X230T (!)...
