My W510 is still in great shape with 32GB RAM + 500GB SSD, but it's eight years old and I know I could use more oomph in the CPU. I like the specs of the P series, esp the Thunderbolt 3. Wondering if any rumors on next gen x2 release. As retired IBMer I would love a deep discount, but I keep my machines a while. This is about my eighth TP (some for family), plus those IBM provided from 1993. Thoughts?

Thanks! I priced one at lenovo.com, but they don't yet show on IBM employee purchase. I'm hoping end of Q2 will offer some deals. May have to wait for end of year. grump. I may have to touch one - worried about the scrunched keyboard on the 15".

Weird. I clicked your link, and see the P52, not a P52s. Looking at models all are P52.

Any news about a upcoming release of the P72? I need a 17 inch workstation in the upcoming weeks and really would like to have the choice of a hexacore...
