Unless you somehow got this laptop for free I wouldn't want to do any mods to a brand new laptop. Your suggestions would most certainly void the warranty.

Better to buy something already configured as you like.

I'd also be interested, if it would be possible to fit the better 1.8 mm key travel keyboard of the T14 G2
into the T14 G4 (16:10). Same for the P1 (16:10).

Personally I would not care about voiding the warranty, if - finally - I could get something at-least-similar to a "Classic Thinkpad".
