Getting accustomed to the machine:
Easier to open lid as there's a projection on top of it.
Internet jack has drop-down part to get plug in then it raises up but not to flush. (T41 is slimmer than T480 but does have bumps on bottom.)
Fingerprint reader integrated with power button, small light above it.
Seems to not have enough RAM as proportion used high, 12GB. I'll dig into what it should have had and addition of more (HMM should have information on adding more).

Re: Good little features on T14 Gen 6
A few keyboard changes compared to T480:
- CTRL and Fn keys bottom left swapped position, good idea as CTRL probably used more often
- PrtSc key moved to F9 on top row, used to be a Tools type symbol there
- In its place bottom row between ALT and CTRL is a symbol I have not yet figured out meaning of
- F8 now Mode instead of radio tower symbol
- F11 now looks like F7 used to be (switch displays): computer and box above it, F7 has those side by side. I dunno yet.

Most likely the CoPilot key that Microsoft is insisting on new PCs to shove AI down people's throats.keithsketchley wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2026 1:01 pm- In its place bottom row between ALT and CTRL is a symbol I have not yet figured out meaning of

Why is my P1 Gen 7 so much better on battery? Cool, quiet, fast — but not on AC.
