I have a T14 gen 1 laptop for work (it’s that they gave me). I am wanting to connect it to 3 external monitors.
I am currently connected to a ThinkPad USB-C gen 2 dock (also what they gave me), and while that dock will support 3 monitors, can only get 2 of them to display 1920x1080, the 3rd one is a lower resolution.
I did some digging and it appears that the only way to get 1080 resolution on all 3 is to use a Thunderbolt dock. I purchased a Thinkpad Thunderbolt 3 dock (type 40AC), but I cannot get it to work. I have installed the driver for the dock, and the BIOS on the laptop has Thunderbolt enabled. What am i missing ? Is this dock not compatible w/ the T14 gen 1 ? If not, is there a different dock that someone could recommend that would work ?
Thanks.
