IPS Screen X60 Tablet?
I read a post where someone said the X60 Tablet with SXGA+ screen was an IPS screen. How can this be confirmed?

The Tabook says "Wide-viewing angle FFS". FFS is an extension of IPS technology.proaudioguy wrote:True, but it doesn't actually say IPS anywhere on the site, that I can find. I saw the TN and chose the other screen. I thought there was no chance of getting an IPS screen anymore so this would be great news. How can I confirm it?
In the tabook.pdf:
Some: 12.1" (307mm) XGA (1024x768) TFT color / 4:3 / 185 nits / 170° viewing
Some: 12.1" (307mm) SXGA+ (1400x1050) TFT color / 4:3 / 180 nits / 170° viewing
Touch: 12.1" (307mm) XGA (1024x768) TFT color / 4:3 / 150 nits / 170° viewing /
MultiView (indoor/outdoor), MultiTouch (touchscreen via finger and pen)
All: Super Wide Angle FFS / anti-reflective and anti-glare protective coatings...
With 170° viewing characteristics, they are basically very similar to IPS
I don't know the reason, but many reviewers said that the Touch version has the brightest screen (best viewing?)

The touch version's screen is made for outdoor use, and has "transreflective display" characteristics and coatings, similar to PDAs and cellphones. Its lamp is probably not actually any brighter, but it does a better job of reflecting ambient light so it appears so.milstein wrote: I don't know the reason, but many reviewers said that the Touch version has the brightest screen (best viewing?)
