x60s and ultralight display
Hello,
is there any way to find out which model number X60s correspond to the UL XGA display? I've been looking at X60s on eBay, and most claim to weigh only 2.69lbs, but I've no idea if these actually have the UL display. Thanks.

According to the Tabook:
1702-94U, 1702-7CU and 1702-H7U have UL
All 1704, 1705 and all other 1702 models are implied not to have one. However, I vaguely remember a forum member saying that his 1705 X60s has an UL display, which is not that surprising because the Tabook has become less and less complete. Bottom line: Those three 1702 models listed above definitely have UL. Other models most likely don't have one, but a few might.

Thanks, I didn't see the relevant part of the FAQ, I'm looking at it now.
tabook.pdf seems a bit odd, in that it implies that some X60s' have a Core 2 Duo processor.
Regarding the serial numbers, I'll try, but it'd be much easier if the model numbers were sufficient to distinguish between the various models. Oh well.
Comparing the X60, X60s and X60s w/UL XGA (all with the 8-cell battery), am I correct that the weights are, respectively, 3.64, 3.53 and 3.33 lbs? I guess I thought the weight difference between the X60s and X60 was bigger than that (usually I see 2.7 vs. 3.2 lbs listed), but with the same battery, it seems pretty negligible (10%).
Thanks again.

The best way to check is to get the serial numbers and punch them in to Lenovo.com. I have a 1705-CTO and it has an UltraLight panel.
