I remember 10 years ago people asking why you'd want internet on your phone being that the screen is so small, but can you imagine being without it now?

To be fair, phones have become a lot faster and the screens have become a lot bigger. With 5.5" screens and bigger, its more like a mini-Tablet.

+ 1.
My cell phone gets used maybe once a month (if I remember to bring it), I have never used internet on it.
Because I have absolutely no interest in this accident-causing, anti-social, overpriced piece of technology.

+2 Yes I can as well. I own a non-smart phone and TV. Sometimes I am surrounded by non-smart people.
Also, just plain NO on the proposed design.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

I remember my dad's 25 year old brick phone, the first with text only internet access. Who needs javascript anyway

At least it would have a Trackpoint and the screen looks 3:2. The disappointment is that they won't build a 3:2 Thinkpad now. (or will they?)
