I got a replacement motherboard which is supposed to be for a T60. It fits...sort of: I have to remove the CDROM and the hard-drive sticks partially out of the side. And the fan will turn on, but nothing else happens (no beeps or anything).
The board is labelled "LW-13"
1. Is this likely to be a T60 motherboard? Maybe for a different configuration than my original T60?
2. If it is a T60 motherboard (even if for a different configuration/size than my original T60), shouldn't it still properly power on? (More than the fan?)

Re: T60 motherboard?
That's possibly a T61 motherboard, which needs different CPUs.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

Re: T60 motherboard?
Would a T61 be likely to be 'wider'? (that is, would this explain why the cdrom doesn't fit, and the hard-drive sticks out the side?)

Re: T60 motherboard?
Widescreen mobos are wider than the standard 4:3.
If that's a widescreen T60 mobo, then it's defective.
