You might be interested in this article: https://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-helmet-noise/

And this helmet: https://badasshelmetstore.com/noise-can ... mets-ever/

Sounds like fitted earplugs might be essential in your case. Hope you find a good solution!

Thanks Paul, looking at reviews for the Sena helmet right now. It's pretty darn good for a helmet. It's not as expensive as I thought. The other one is a good article too.

I watched this video from a custom earplug company https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAqFtwJ0vDM and right now I'm thinking of getting a pair from them. Here's their website https://www.bigearinc.com

Do you think their price is good?

Unfortunately I doubt I will be riding anymore. Maybe someday I will get it trike but I'm getting too old to ride a Harley and the little imported bikes just aren't for me.

I ride a -18 Romet Adventure 125 and a -07 Piaggio MP3 250.

I mostly ride the MP3 due to extremely poor roads where i live. Dropped the romet twice, while the three wheeled MP3 seems to handle it fine.

I don't ride any longer, but my best bike was a '68 BSA 650 Lightning with Mikuni carbs.

Guess I should update my ride while I'm here.

A couple of years ago I asked my dad what he was going to do with the '76 CB750K he had under a blanket in his garage. "You want it?" Uh, sure! He had owned it since 1993, and it has about 21,000 miles on the clock. I know the current craze is to de-tab, chop, and hack the frames into 'cafe racers', but I can't quite bring myself to do that... But I did want to update it--especially the front end; the original 35mm forks are like wet noodles. So I've put 53mm upside-down forks from an early 2000s GSX-R750 on it. I didn't have to touch the frame, though I did need to get a new stem machined for it. I also tore the engine down and freshened it up a bit (all new seals, etc.). Still putting it back together, but a broken collarbone has slowed that somewhat... Maybe this fall!

@ TuuS: you might consider freshening up a classic, rather than resorting to a Harley.

The riders course would be a good place to learn how to ride.
