HELP - big problem.....
HELP - big problem.....
Hi to all.
ok here is the story. I bought a battery board off eBay. So i took my laptop apart, put the component in, put it back together, and now my laptop wont even start!! Whats wrong? Are there any common mistakes people do while reassembling their laptops? I tried 3 times with no success, please help me!
btw, its a 390E.

If you are absolutely 100% positve that the new battery is infact new and good, then it sounds like a problem with the voltage circuitry and/or the mainboard. If you are sure the computer itself is good, then you have a bad battery.
I'd try to find a way to est the battery. Do you know anyone that you see on a normal basis who also has a 390? If so, I'd try the battery in their computer and see what happens.

You probably have a board that's not seated probperly and/or somedust in a connector. Check all the connectors and make sure everything is snug and clean. You especially need to check the CPU connector, that one right there can be a doosey.

No, because the videocard needs to recieve instructions from the CPU to process to display an image or even light up.
