Nostalgia for the good old days
Nostalgia for the good old days
I just want to take a minute to reminisce about my good old days. I used to have a T43 back in grad school (2007ish). I was dating an undergrad (ex-girlfriend now) and we used to study together in the old library and we used to sit by the windows. In the winter, I remember reading drudgereport on my T43 while she was cramming her chemistry stuff. We always used to stay late and when it got cold, I remember how much comfort I found cupping my hands over the "heating vent" is what I used to call it (the cpu fan exhaust) to warm up while reading the news on my T43. I missed those huge old heating vents on the older ThinkPads
Anyone else feel the same way?

(and I'd rather read the NYT or WashPost now).

In the "real ol' days" we used a 770x to warm our knees - still got the burn marks to show!!!

Re: Nostalgia for the good old days
I like your story, I do have some nice memories about that time, too. Thanks to TP Fan Control I can warm my T440s at least a bit up to 48 celsius.
