USB-C to 90W charger for T60/T61

I found this charming device on eBay, that allows one to connect an old-style Lenovo round plug with a modern USB-C charger. There are a whole slew of new USB-C chargers that are rated at 90W, so I'm curious if anyone has tried such a combo for a more compact travel experience more akin to the MacBook charge cords. Of course, I don't want to burn out one of the good boards on one of my T601 Frankenpads after spending an enormous amount of time dealing with the mods and installing Hydis displays.
