R51 (ATI) lcd upgrade to UXGA

Good day everyone!

Apologies if this was answered before, but the search didn't really return the answer I was looking for - I have an R51 with ATi mobility 7500 graphics and TN XGA panel that I picked up to have a "retro-ish" machine for old 4:3 games and some light use of the word processing apps and such. I am looking into upgrading the LCD to the FlexView one, and at the moment I have an opportunity to pick up a UXGA panel from A31p for real cheap. Does anyone know if that panel would work in my laptop? And if so, would that require a lot of work to mod this thing and the other and a high risk of botching everything?
