Windows freezes on suspend

I'm having problems when trying to enter suspended mode on my X40. Windows appears to freeze after switching to the blue screen that precedes the suspended state. This doesn't always happen, but often enough to be a problem, since I have to reset the computer.

Anyone got any ideas how to resolve this?
