t42 charging/battery issue

I got a t42 today and seems to have problem with the battery
It takes a very long time to charge: from 5% to 9% in 90 minutes
Also the battery led remains on after shut down (orange) charger disconected
Any thoughts on this??

edit: i placed the battery in my other t42 it charges normaly !!!
