Greetings,
A quick question:
Say I buy a X60s computer with Ultrabase CDRW/DVD-ROM (model 17044JU) and an additional ultrabase DVD-burner (part 40Y8623), which comes, if bought separately, with 1 year warranty. I insert it myself as CRU to replace the original drive.
In this case does the DVD-burner remain limited to its 1 year warranty? Or it inherits the 3-year warranty status of the original CDRW it replaces?
