X60 Tablet and Recovery CDs

Lenovo just sent me the Vista Recovery CDs for my X60 Tablet, as I called and complained I was having problems upgrading due to the Rescue and Restore making my old partition invalidated (4.0 isn't compatible w/ 3.0). I just read the posts in this forum...I guess I won't be able to activate Vista? I have a Vista upgrade CD from Lenovo...can I just use the key off that for activation by changing my installation #?

You should be able to - try it, if it does not work phone Microsoft and get them to sort it out for you - you are completely legal and they have no option but to help you.
