Clean install of XP - Need SATA drivers ?

#1 Post by Oaklodge » Fri May 18, 2007 11:23 am

I'm doing a clean install of Windows XP on a t60p with a 7K100 drive.

When I attempt to load Windows XP it tells me that there is no disk drive. I'm guessing that this is because is need to load a sata driver to boot with.

Any idea where to get this please ?

You can change SATA to compatibility mode in BIOS. There are many old threads on this if you do a search.
