20V Power??
Looks like these new machines are using 20V power supplies...every thinkpad I have ever user going back to 1997 has had 16V power supplies. I guess all my old power bricks will go the way of the dodo bird with these new machines..
Yes, but by going to a 20V PSU now, they'll be able to handle future power needs, and avoid switching to another new model as much as possible. The 16V PSUs have survived this long - IIRC, they debuted in 1992 with the ThinkPad 700. In fact, they're still around a little longer on the R series (IIRC, the G series has something different), until the R60 comes out.
Current: X201 (i5-540M, 8 GiB, 160 GB), 365XD (120 MHz, 72 MiB, 6.4 GB, 4x CD-ROM, 10.4" TFT)
Past: T61p 15.0" QXGA, T60p 15.0" QXGA, X61 Tablet SXGA+, R51e 14.1" XGA, X21
