IBM Update Connector.....still available?

Is the IBM Update Connector still available now that the laptops have been sold offshore? I'm using V6.1, and while I haven't tried to connect in some time, I now get an error: "An error occured connecting with the IBM Help Center".

Unless your ThinkPad model is too old, Software Installer is what to use now.
