X60 Tablet - April 6th
X60 Tablet - April 6th
Not sure if this belongs here or in the X40 series but supposedly the X60 Tablet will be arriving soon.

I don't think so.
I spoke to 3 Lenovo employees about it at the Cebit.
And at least till the end of the year there will be no X60T.
Tough they did admit there was a large demand, the most questions they got where about the tablet pc version.
On the other side... the Lenovo guys didn’t knew everything... since I had to tell THEM that there is an UltraLight option for the X60 series...

As much as I want this to be true, I don't think it is.
Just look at the details:
The story bases on that item in a french webshop:
http://www.coreduonews.com/2006/03/29/l ... -x61-next/
But its model number reffers to an ordinary X60:
http://www5.pc.ibm.com/fr/products.nsf/ ... enDocument
The technical details are exactly like mentioned in the shop, only that it's no a tablet.
Also coreduonews.com states it would "be available from April 6th" which just happens to be about the date when the ordinary X60 become aviable here in europe.
So my guess would be: error in webshop.
What a pity. Well, I guess I will have to settle for a T60.
