Hi,
I'm trying to get a hold of this particular part:
22P9190 - Stand Kit (for using Mini-Dock with Monitor Stand 2001)
Basically this is the part that holds the Mini-Dock in place. The adjustable brackets that I do have are for the other docking stations. I have had some difficulty convincing IBM to supply me with this part or even exchange my existing brackets for those.. but have had no luck (no warranty). Does anyone have any spares or know of a way I can get them? They actually cost $25 (which is half the cost of a Monitor Stand itself!).
Thanks

Monitor Stand 2001 - Stand Kit
Monitor Stand brackets
Do you mean the little "L" shaped plastic pieces that plugs into the sliding "floor" under the stand? I have stands and have some that seem to work with the Dock and Port Replicator. I don't know if they would work with the Mini-Dock, but I can find out. One fo the teacher at my school uses one of those with an R series machine.

SChen,
That would be awesome! Those "L" shaped plastic pieces are exactly what I'm looking for. Apparently I have the old ones, which are also "L" shaped. The new clips are supposed to hold the new docks securely. I'll try to describe what mine look like with ASCII:
|_ <-- equal lengths (1.5cm) on both legs of the "L"
I assume the updated clips have a leg that is slightly longer than the other, such as "|___" since my current clips are too far apart to secure the Mini-Dock.
Btw, I'm not 100% sure if this is the only factor I need to get the Mini-Dock to fit correctly. It could be that the whole lower shelf (where the clips are inserted) was revised.
Do let me know, thanks!

Monitor Stand L Brackets
Sorry. It looks like the only ones that came with mine were the first "L" shaped brackets where both legs are the same length. I guess my stand was produced before the minidock that needed the other brackets.
