About the replacement of the original memory

#1 Post by coolfly » Thu May 11, 2006 12:40 pm

I have ordered an X60s( not receive yet ). I want to buy 2 piece of 1GB pc2-5300 memory and make them working in dual channel.
Could I take out the original 512M memory( is the memory fixed on the motherboard )?

When it does arrive, you can use the Hardware Maintenance Manual to show you have to remove and replace the ram.
