Difficult to do this. You could certainly move the Verizon "card" from the T60 to the X60......but, notice on the T60 LCD bezel frame the protrusion on the upper right: thats the Verizon adapter antenna. Note on the X60 LCD bezel frame (same place) that this antenna is not there. Without the antenna on the X60 the adapter is'nt gonna work to well. Your best bet is to just get an external Verizon adapter for the X60....

I'm not saying you can do this from a technical POV, but there are no regulatory problems with doing it yourself. Ram, for instance, also needs to be tested by the FCC for spurious emissions and you can install that yourself. Since the verizon card and the laptop are both individually registered, there should be no legal problem with combining them yourself. However, other posts in this thread do indicate technical infeasibility.fbrdphreak wrote:No, you cannot. These cards are still licensed by the FCC or something and thus you have to have the internal ones installed by the OEM.

Sorry I should've clarified. First of all you can't do it because you won't have an antenna. The reason for this, which is what I started previously, is that Lenovo can't sell these cards as they are restricted from doing so by the FCC. Sorry for the confusiontrentblase wrote:I'm not saying you can do this from a technical POV, but there are no regulatory problems with doing it yourself.
