X60s Bluetooth Headset with Skype

I use skype with a Motorola BT headset. In Skype go to Tools ---> Options ---> then click the sound devices tab. for the options, audio in, and out choose Bluetooth audio. and it should work great. I am able to play music through the laptop speakers while talking with skype.

Thanks Jason... but the problem is that I couldn't get my Headset to work as "Bluetooth audio"... I simply don't have the option in my Skype...
What bluetooth driver do you have? The default driver I have on my X60s doesn't allow me to set up my headset as "Bluetooth audio"...
Do you remember how you get it up in the first place?

That allows me to use my earpiece as a headset. when I am home this evening I will have a look and tell you exactly what I have going on to get it to work. As I remember once I turned the bluetooth on using the FnF5 it installed all the bluetooth audio drivers and stuff and I had that option in skype.

kin514,
I am using the driver that installed itself the first time I turned on the Bluetooth on my X60s, it's version 4.0.1.3000 by WIDCOMM. My headset is a Logitech Mobile Pro II - the one with the guy in the pink shirt on the package (*)... I've set it all up in under a minute without any problems... I use it both with my mobile phone and Skype, although unfortunately not simultaneously (a limitation of Bluetooth itself).
Have a look at this thread at Skype's forum - http://forum.skype.com/index.php?s=fa63 ... opic=10822
Basically, all Bluetooth 1.2 headsets should work fine with X60/X60s built-in Bluetooth regardless of the driver version. Have a look at the above thread in case you have similar problems.
(*) - so you're wondering why I mentioned the guy in the pink shirt
- well (at least here in Europe) the packaging doesn't specifically say it's a Logitech Mobile Pro II, it only says Mobile Pro, so you have to look at the colour of the guy's shirt. Pink(ish) means it's a revised version with better sound quality and some issues solved... Blue shirt means Logitech Mobile Pro (version 1), so pay attention in case you run into some old stock.
