RAM compatibility

can one 4200 clcok ram slot into a in 2700 clock motherboard?
1. T43 2668-B97 14" SXGA+ 1.5G RAM 9cells
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful

Are they PC2-4200 and PC-2700? No, because the former is DDR2 while the latter is DDR.
