will X60 work with SATA II hard drive?

since I have a noisy hard drive, I am thinking of changing the hard drive to a Fujitsu 40GB (Fujitsu is supposed to be quieter and 40GBs are quieter than 80GBs). But I can only find SATA II ones online, while the X60 comes with a SATA (I) hard drive. Will SATA II ones work with X60?
