There has been some speculation here on the X61 (WS or not, etc) but one thing I'm interested in is whether it will have an explicit ExpressCard slot (directly tied to PCI-E) rather than the adapter in the X60 that runs via a slower USB 2.0 connection. Does anyone have any early information on that?
I'm wondering because i use my X60s as my sole machine and run it out via VGA to a 24" (not ideal, wish it had DVI). I'd like to be able to use the new ASUS XG station via ExpressCard with a dual-link DVI capable card to push a 30" LCD. This would make for an awesome portable/desktop setup.
With the new T/R61's out today, I guess we may find out soon on X61 specs?
