#1 Post by tomh009 » Wed May 30, 2007 8:22 pm

Slashgear has the first official details:

GottaBeMobile has received a tablet (with 7200 rpm disk -- good!) and Vista Ultimate for review:

Engadget:

Not yet on the US or European web sites though ...

Edit: Added more links.

So who thinks that Lenovo will give me a few bucks back, since my X60 tablet just shipped today and they told me no X61t for a while?

Gotta Be Mobil says pretty quick so I wonder if they fixed the preload.

It's nice enough and alot cheaper than I expected. Back in Jan the X60T was alot more.

Just to be clear, that is the X61s, not the tablet. You probably knew that, but I got all excited about a light tablet.

Don't open the box. Maybe don't even sign for the box. Check with Lenovo now if you want to return it.

It's not that I don't want the X60; I just want some money back since the guy told me the X61 wasn't coming out for a long while.

The X61s and X61 models are now already listed on the Lenovo website itself.

Yeah, I know. The rep told me that unless they drop the X60t price more on the site, he can't give me anything back :(

I was in a similar scenario and called Lenovo up and they said to send them my x60 tablet back and if I agreed to re-order an x61 right then, they would wave the re-stocking fee :D

So I basically did a clean swap of a x60 and x61(the x61 was only $30 more and that's with the turbo memory added).
