Hey,
I got a Thinkpad T60p. The battery claims that it was used in January 2007 for the first time. However, the computer was manufactured in Marts and was not turned on until May.
Does anybody know how this could happen? Is the first use date bulletproof?
My personal theory is that the computer-date was not set immediately. Thus, the battery might have pulled the wrong date off of the computer. Is this plausible?
Thanks,
Rasmus

Why is my P1 Gen 7 so much better on battery? Cool, quiet, fast — but not on AC.
