Warranty?

Just a quick stupid question :)

If I purchase a Thinkpad laptop in USA with a 3 year base warranty, is it a global one (I live in Europe) or is it valid only in USA.

It depends on the model and the country. In order to determine if it qualifies for IWS (International Warranty Service) go here;

It would be a T61p 14.1" and Hungary, but as I see it is not valid to my country but correct me if i am wrong.

Sir, it merely depends on the 4 digits machine Type. The ones listed on the US website will have no warranty in your country.
