Rescue and Recovery 4.1 stopped working

I did a backup today (or tried to do) but in the middle of progress, backup stopped for long period of time (41%). I rebooted my computer (Start/Shutdown/restart) and then tried to start RNR gui. But it won't start. I can see in the task manager window, but no visible GUI. It seems to freeze....
What's wrong? Any ideas?

This has happened to me. I had to download the current version and install it again. Right now, I'm having a similar problem with the power manager app upgrade too.
