Free Wi-Fi in Singapore?

Apart from the two universities listed in the jiwire.com directory does anyone know any free Wi-Fi hotspots in Singapore?

Answering the question myself - MacDonald's and MacCafes have free Wi-Fi.

And the National University of Singapore (NUS) Wi-Fi (see www.jiwire.com) is only free to students and staff. The technological university is likely to be the same.

Are you familiar with Simlim Square? It may or may not be of interest to you but they have many used ThinkPads and they may be willing to part them out. Also, at Funan the IT Mall, I purchased RAM from the IBM store (can't remember the name of the store) that was very inexpensive at the time even though it was a couple years back.

sim lim square might be a greta place to shop. But you need to know your stuffs pretty well to avoid getting ripped off
