Java script plug-in?
Java script plug-in?
Say if I were to go to this site http://www.chumbo.com/Info.aspx?id=213126&ptr=YPS
and click on http://www.chumbo.com/Styles/1/images/b ... Ex2Day.gif for some reason there is no way to open it. I just switched to Mozilla and the same thing happened with IE. Looking at the address it shows a java script prompt, do I need some kinda of plug-in?

Try going to java.sun.com and obtaining, downloading and installing the standard Java VM. Look first in Add/Remove programs and see if any Java application is installed. Uninstall it before installing any new version. That may help you. I have the standard runtime VM version 1.4.2_06 installed and I don't get Java script errors. ... JD Hurst
I have these two java programs installed. Should I erase them, then install a new one? Are they suppose to be that large?

your classpath is incorrect....just kidding. I just formatted so i dont have Java installed yet, but there should be a Java icon in the window's control panel. There should be a place where you can select which java runtime versions to use. make sure version 1.5 ( or might be just listed as version 5) an only version 1.5 is selected. Did you uninstall IBM's JRE?
