I'm looking for a supplier than can sell me around 20 of the "classic dome" thinkpad caps. All I can find is various people selling collections of the three available styles like the one at: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-53765. Anyone know if it's possible to just order the classic ones?

Trackpoint caps? ("classic dome" only)
www.trackcap.com
It looks pretty fly-by-night, but I just ordered a dozen from www.trackcap.com. Guess I'll see what happens...

You got RIPPED OFF! $9.99 for two caps?! Give me a break!
Go to http://www.compu-lock.com/tpcap.asp. They are the IBM Recommended TrackPoint supplier, and I've always had great service from them.
Also, bill has listed on his main site 6 caps for $15. You might want to see if that offer is still valid.
Re: www.trackcap.com
Thanks for the pointer, but if you look again I ordered TWELVE for $40.00 [and free shipping]. That's actually better than Compu-Lock (12 would cost $41.85 and then I'd get dinged for $6.50 shipping (to be fair, it might be less but unlikely to be "zero"). And yes, I'm aware of Bill's special, but alas, it's the same "2 that I want and 4 that I don't" deal that most everyplace is offering.mattfromomaha wrote:jawhitti wrote:It looks pretty fly-by-night, but I just ordered a dozen from www.trackcap.com. Thanks for the tip though - I didn't know Compu-Lock was IBM's preferred supplier.
