Eight Thinkpads

#1 Post by zern » Thu Jan 13, 2011 10:42 am

Photo from 2004.
Thinkpads on loan from IBM being prepped to run a silent auction for charity.
The two "servers" were an A20 and my own T21.
The clients used for data entry are 4x T21s and 2x Transnotes. Yes the cool ahead-of-its-time Transnote. The Transnotes enabled roaming data entry. I still have one of these Transnotes in storage!
Brings back memories.

The Transnotes are great! Such a strange form, but such a reasonable idea.

The Transnotes were amazingly small for their time - if you hacked off the writing pad attachment.
