I need to get some more memory for my T42 (model 23733VU). I need to run lots of graphics programs such as Adobe CS on it and it has been getting slow with my stock 512MB.
Does anyone have any recommendations for types of memory? and also is it easy to install?
Take a look at our

Memory Reccomendations
Hi it's my first post,
Not sure whether I understand your message...
hope this will help...
go for 1Gb and above (Kingston or Corsair just fine)
or you can find info about RAm in the forum about Performance gain between 1GB and 2GB memory in T42 on 30th April 05
Cheers

Seemed pretty clear to me.
You need more RAM. There's a few ways to go about this. The easiest are to go to www.kingston.com or www.crucial.com (my favorite although sometimes pricy) and select your machine with their configuration utility. They will then direct you to only the RAM compatible with your computer.
Another alternative is if you know what kind of RAM you need shop around at sites like www.newegg.com, www.mwave.com and others. I've ordered a T43p and I noticed www.mwave.com has the best price on 1GB Kingston sticks for the T43 models.

), T400
