eDP video cable

#1 Post by x3o2 » Sat Feb 11, 2017 1:27 pm

Can anyone tell me, if there is eDP video cables in different lenghts?

Depending on the panels eDP connector being on the left or right side, there is different lenghts needed.

I need the cable FRU 01AW438 in at least 10cm longer.

Is there a cable that fits my needs?

X250 and X260 only come with panels which have connector on the left side. So, there's no other cables for them.

Look for a flex extender LCD cable, such as this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/I-PEX-4 ... 68564.html
They come in all sorts of pins/length/shapes

But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!

Thanks for your answers.

The flex extender LCD cable seems to be a good alternative.

There is a 13'' panel transplanted to the X330 with a fitting eDP LCD cable, long enough for the connector being on the right side of the panel.

But I can't find any info on what eDP cable was used.

Problem will be to find a cable with matching length and the right motherside pinout to work with a X230 and a 13'' Sharp LQ133M1JW03.

Or, have you got any idea how to find out the FRU of that eDP cable in the X330?
