LED indicator sticker removal

Hello to all, I am almost finished with my t60 to t60p swap and all is well. I bought a t60p sticker to replace the t60 sticker that goes in front of the LED indicators on the display but I have no idea how to remove it. What are the best methods of doing this,

Use the tip of a sharp knife, on the RH side gently push it in and under the strip, lift it up and pull it out.
Put the new one in, starting from the left.
They are self-adhesive.
Takes about 20-30 seconds.
