Remember, you do NOT actually need uefi or secure boot just to get windows 11 to work!
If I can get an even older Compaq Presario V3000 to work with Windows 11, this means even the T60 can run windows 11 (Albeit like a snail)!
Learn how to bypass the checks for those soft requirements.

I have installed windows 11 already (clean install).
Would like to try cloverbootloader also.
May be it will resalt in faster boottime, better utility of ram.

Well even with my Compaq Presario V3000's T7200 CPU (decent CPU for T60, which just about any decent CPU on a T61 outside of T5xxx T7100 T7250 will outperform) and an aging 7 years old Intel SSD running on SATA1, the boot times really weren't bad at all with Windows 11 all things considered... Maybe having an old flagship SSD which has DRAM inside helps?
Remember though for Windows 8 and up, the standard shutdown is just hibernation, and one perk of having smaller RAM is having faster hibernation and resumption speeds, which is shown with just 3GB of RAM on that thing.

While I do see RAM utilisation differences between x86 and x64 operating systems (x64 eats more RAM but also manages it more efficiently to speed up other hardware), I am afraid RAM utilisation is only gonna be worse with UEFI, if we are talking about 3 or 4GB of RAM, if it changes anything at all. You might end up with more RAM reserved, which can cut in badly when you have low amounts of RAM.

My T61 is running Win11 just fine. It has C2D T7250 and 3GB of RAM. Installed SSD to help with slow boot times. Not bad for a machine from 15 years ago...
