You can't really trust any product or service with your data. You pick your poison.
IPhone se still (barely) fits in a palm. My Sony Compacts (the 10 and 5 are not compacts) fit better but had the worst networking of any device I've ever used. And the 10 IV has worse lag than a 5400 rpm spinner on a T42. And they want to sell these [censored] for >$400?

I had one of the last white plastic Macbook models from 2008? It came with a CD restore disk, didn't require activation like Microsoft Windows. I absolutely loved it. But the Apple of then is gone and is no more. Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, all harvest your data. Apple is probably the worst offender, and I would never trust any of their products again.

The fact that Apple was caught sending telemetry to their servers every time you opened one of their apps and were connected to the internet, did it for me. Apple decried how "private" they were, but it was all smoke and mirrors. They are probably the worst offender of the four big tech companies when it comes to privacy. I will never own another one of their products again.

Does anyone remember the story when Apple planned to start locally scanning all your Apple devices for child sexual abuse images (CSAM), and the EFF hired a plane to circle Apple headquarters with a banner that said "don't scan our devices for CSAM", and Apple finally backed off?

Apple is the very definition of a nanny corporation. I will never have anything to do with that company again. Aggregious privacy violations, big tech is all a part of PRISM and cannot be trusted.

It's actually part of the reason why I want to get the hell out of the United States and go to Europe. At least there they have far more privacy protections, unlike here where the constitution is trampled upon every day.
