I had a student at the office do it for me - you have to hack/customise the javascript file that is associated with the wallpapers.
The student is long gone and I don;t have the customised version anymore, so sorry but look at the Javascript file - it's pretty obvious how to change it.

How good are you with HTML and JavaScript coding? You'd have to manually edit the HTML file corresponding to your screen resolution to add the appropriate information, such as X and Y offsets for the displayed position of the city, the correct offset from GMT and the city name as well as the HTML and JavaScript functions to glue it all together. That HTML file should be located in "C:\WINDOWS\Active Wallpaper Nala" for the Americas version and will be named something like "1024x768_Americas.html". Good luck.
Not very good but now that I know how to do it..or at least where to change it, I'll give it a shot. Shouldn't be too difficult. Thanks both of you for the help.

I did have a question. The maps I had thus far are of Asia, America, or Europe. I have another wallpaper that shows the entire world...is it possible to use this as the backdrop instead of leaving half the world out like the other wallpapers do? Thank you.

Yes, but it would entail much more work. You'd want to convert it to a JPG of an appropriate size and filename, put it in the "C:\WINDOWS\Active Wallpaper Nala\opt" folder with the other JPGs and re-do the x-y coordinates of all the cities in the HTML file to get them to display in the correct location on your new map, but there's no reason it couldn't be done.STS06 wrote:I did have a question. ok thanks, appreciate it.
On more thing though, I can't seem to get the time right. For instance, I added in Auckland, New Zealand (some family lives there) but i offset the clock and it gives me a time of -12:45 ....
I guess I need to look more at the code and the math behind the clock ....darn it!...more work than anticipated...haha like I said, I'm not very good (at all) with HTML....or coding for that matter.
