I have decent knowledge about computers, and my laptop. But I am totally puzzled when it comes to Color Calibration.
I use Photohop alot, and am puzzled on how to calibrate my thinkpad lcd to match actual colors, and then to get my Epson C86 printer to match.

And after you do that. . .
It's probably not the right way to do it, but what I do is make a nice print, by hook or by crook, and then adjust my monitor so that it looks like the print. Also, make sure that all your devices are using the same color profile--I use sRBG. You don't want to take, for instance, an AdobeRBB file from your camera, Photoshop it in sRGB, and then print it in your printer's RGB (or even worse, think that because your printers got CMYK inks, you should convert to CYMK). By the time you get the print in your hand. . . who knows what you'll have.
